How do I add a form to a story?

Create a new story or edit your story, you will see in the left menu "Form" once you click on it, you will see different forms.

You will need to add a name to your form (invisible to the visitor of your website) and name the Swipe Up Label that will appear at the bottom of your story.

Don't worry, you can change it before you publish it..

To do so, just click on the form.

You will be able to modify the field titles, delete some, but also add a text field, telephone, or date, but also the consent ("Show Legal")

Retrieve form information:

In the Analytics tab you will find the details of the answers given per form. You can download them in .csv or on Google Sheet.

When should you use a form?

The form allows you to collect valuable information: the contact details of your visitors.

However, in order to leave their email address, the visitor must see their interest.

What will you offer them in exchange? We have listed some examples below:

The newsletter

The newsletter is ideal for building your brand image and sharing your news. You can showcase work on new products, highlight the team, and why not your customer ambassadors?

Good news, you can include content created on JOIN in your emails.

Offer a discount

Who ever left their email for a discount? I plead guilty! That's why I'm sharing this best practice.

A story with a discount code on a future order gives you a better chance of converting a visitor into a buyer.

For more convenience, you can connect your emailing tool to Google Sheet with Zapier*. This will allow you to send your emails automatically.

Register for a giveway

Another relevant example is participation in a competition.

Your visitor can leave his email address and participate in a draw.

To have a good conversion rate, focus on the visual: the prize must be attractive and well highlighted, and have an explicit call to action as above "Win this prize".

Don't forget to indicate the date of the draw, how many winners, and how soon the winner will be contacted.
