Automatic flow

Updated in the last hour

The advantage:

  • Effortless continuous social proof: product pages and the homepage stay up to date with relevant posts, without anyone having to import them manually.

  • Stable rules: the same filters (tags, products, creators, content types) apply with every content update.

  • Compatible with all widget styles: it works with all widgets.

What is Automatic Flow?

Automatic Flow continuously feeds a JOIN widget with the right UGC, the right Instagram posts, or the right media from your library: you only need to define the rules once, and any new matching content will automatically appear as stories — no manual curation required.

You need to define:

  • The content source (UGC, Instagram, or Media Library).

  • Which content is eligible (sort mode and filters).

The platform applies the rules to the content and refreshes the widget on a scheduled basis whenever the source content changes.

💡 It is possible to combine automatic flow & manual integration within the same widget.

Setup

1. Add a flow

In the Widget, select Automatic flow, displayed as (0/3) when no flow exists.

If the option is greyed out:

  • if the limit of flows is already reached (limit: 3), or

  • The feature is not available on the plan/team.

You can create up to 3 automatic within the same widget.

2. Step 1 — Flow source

UGC

Only accepted creator content that meets the configured rules.

Instagram

Posts from an Instagram account that meet the rules. If no account is connected, the step will prompt for one.

Media

Media from the JOIN Media Library that meets the tag/product rules.

3. Step 2 — Flow settings (rules and volume)

Sort modes

  • Last publications: Most recent content first, with optional filtering by type (post, reels, stories, saved stories…).

  • Display rules — Stricter filtering:

    • Content types

    • Tags

    • Keywords

    • Creators (or CGC)

4. Saving

After the flow is created, a flow block is created in the builder and displays:

  • The number of active stories from the flow;

  • Synchronizing / Synchronized status;

  • Edit flow to modify it;

  • A warning such as Meta account disconnected when the integration is broken (Instagram/UGC flow).

FAQ

How many automatic flows per widget? Up to 3, simultaneously.

Does Automatic Flow require Grid? No. Grid and Automatic Flow are independent; they complement each other visually, but the flow works with any widget type.

How long does it take for new content to appear? Matching is automatic; allow a few minutes after a content or tag change (refresh cycle).

Can flow stories be displayed before manual stories? Not in the current version — flow content appears after static stories.

Instagram shows "not connected" - what should I do? Connect the Instagram/Meta account required for this source, then return to the flow.

Difference between "Last publications" and "Display rules"? Last publications prioritises recency with optional type filters. Display rules adds stricter filters (tags, keywords, creators).

Who can manage flows? Editors and above on the team, with the feature enabled.

Are AI-tagged products treated differently? No, matching is based on the presence of the tag/product on the content, not on the origin of the tag.
