1 - Installing the JOIN Stories application

  1. Click the Connect product feed button, or go directly to the Shopping tab in your workspace settings.

  2. Then connect your Shopify account to synchronize your product feeds.

2 - Configuring the application

Go to Online Store -> Customize -> App embeds and check the Global Script box.

If you use a Consent Management Platform (CMP), the Global Script can be conditioned on user consent. In the drop-down menu located under the Global Script checkbox, select the corresponding consent category (e.g. Analytics, Marketing, etc.) so that the JOIN script only loads after the user has given consent.

3 -Validating the application integration

To confirm that the application is properly connected, go to Settings -> Customer events and check that the JOIN Stories application is listed and has the Connected status.

Updating the JOIN application on your Shopify store

If the JOIN application was already installed on your store

To update the JOIN application on your Shopify store, you need to re-authenticate. To do this, go to Settings, then open the Shopping tab.

  1. Click Sign out.

  2. Then reconnect by reinstalling the JOIN Stories application, following the JOIN Stories installation procedure.

  3. Application configuration

    Go to Online Store -> Customize -> App embeds and check the Global Script box.

  4. Validating the application integration

    To confirm that the application is properly connected, go to Settings -> Customer events and check that the JOIN Stories application is listed and has the Connected status.
