Advanced Analytics - GTM Integration via Template

This guide shows you how to easily install a tag template from the Gallery (template library) of Google Tag Manager.

Install the Template

  1. Go to your GTM workspace

  2. Navigate to the “Templates” tab

  3. In the section titled “Tag Templates”

  4. Click the “Search Gallery” button in the top right corner of the section

  5. Click the search icon and type “Join Stories - Global Script”

  6. Click on the corresponding template

  7. Click “Add to Workspace”

Use the Template

  1. From your GTM workspace

  2. Go to the “Tags” tab

  3. Create a new tag using the button in the “Tags” section

  4. Click on the “Tag Configuration” section

  5. Select the custom tag template “Join Stories - Global Script” from the “Custom” section

  6. Fill in the field with your Join Stories ID

  7. Add additional parameters if necessary

  8. Be sure to set a trigger on all pages (All Pages - Page View)

  9. Save your tag
